What are the the useful things, besides making phone calls, that I can/could do with an iPhone 5 or an iPhone 4?

Answer by Kris Rosvold:

OMG… ok
Let's say you get lost in a strange town and are starving but want real food intsead of the pre-cooked, boxed and reheated crap served by almost every chain restaurant.
Open up your browser, and type into the search bar "Organic Restaurants nearby" (or best BBQ… or whatever your fancy) you'll get a list of results to choose from.  Pick one.

Most likely it has a map link tied to Google maps or Map Quest. Tap that link and then tap navigate.

Poof! A map pops up showing where you are vs. where you want to go. And in Google maps give you the option to navigate by foot or car.

Push da button, George, push da button.
If you really want to have some trollish fun with the denizens on your way to eat, you can loudly question and argue with the navigators voice commands on the way to eat. The looks you'll get are priceless!

If you're skilled with the camera and multitasking you can even capture a seruptitious photo or three of those looks you get. (Be sure to turn off the shutter sounds or you'll give the game away!

How's that for a start?
