Answer by Kris Rosvold:
We are, many of us.
However, there are tens of billions of dollars in bribes from the multinational corporations which profit from war being thrown at Congress in the guise of "campaign contributions."
Thus the voices of We The People are actively ignored. Are you going to piss of a multi-million dollar "donor" or a few hundred thousand Citizens?
Each of these bribes has a "most carefully" UNSTATED steel cable attached which is: Vote against Our profits and Our money will go to the other guy. In this last round of SC(R)OTUS cases about these "contributiins" that steel cable was most carefully, and intentionally ignored.
President Obama earlier this year declared that we were going into Syria.
300,000++ US Citizens (and several hundred thousand more world Citizens) entered into an email and Internet protest basically saying "We're sick of paying for wars based upon corporate profits, find another way." Obama backed down… temporarily.
Two months later, after public opinion calmed a bit, he took us quickly to war by executive order and gave Us (his employers) no chance to weigh in and say: "Hell No!" again.
Here's the Why:
AT&T (provides cell service)
… and this is just out of the Top 20!
Cui F'ing Bono Obama?! (Who profits you SOB, it's certainly NOT the Citizens, Nation or the Constitution… ALL of which are what you're SUPPOSED to be working for!)
Full disclosure: I despised Bush Jr. even more than I do Obama.
